Angkasa-X is a Technological-social Inclusion Company that strives to provide Internet Connectivity as a Necessity for the betterment of mankind. It consists of a group of companies investing in Research & Development, IP creation, components sourcing & testing, assembly, launching and maintaining state-of-the-art Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO) satellites.

By offering an innovative Satellite-as-a-Service (SaaS) to countries in ASEAN, Angkasa-X mission is to provide internet-connectivity to rural areas in Southeast Asia where traditional terrestrial fiber network is limited and therefore improve the standard of living and aims to eradicate poverty for Asian-people living in the rural areas.

Angkasa-X plans to raise fund from the global capital market to invest and operate A-SEANLINK LEO Satellite Constellation. It aspires to be a unicorn and the number one go-to company for LEO satellite-based Internet services in ASEAN.

Dato’ Dr. Sean SEAH Kok Wah (Dato’ SEAH), a Malaysian, currently serves as the Executive Director of AsiaFIN Holdings Corp. (OTC-QB: ASFH) and the Executive Chairman of Angkasa-X Holdings Corp..

Dato’ SEAH was graduated from the California State University, Chico, USA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science (with Distinction). He also holds a Doctorate of Business Administration (International Business) from Riviera University. In 1994, He began his tech-career in Silicon Valley as a software developer for Software Publishing Corporation and Netscape Communications Corporation. He returned to Malaysia in 1997, recruited by Sun Microsystems to provide technical-consultancy to Malaysia MSC flagship projects.

Dato’ SEAH started his entrepreneurship journey in 2001. In the past 2 decades, he has co-founded and floated several tech companies; including Epicenter Holdings Ltd (SGX:5MQ) in Singapore, Galasys PLC (LSE:GLS) in the United Kingdom, SEATech Ventures Corp. (OTC-PINK:SEAV), AsiaFIN Holdings Corp. (OTC-QB:ASFH) and Angkasa-X Holdings Corp. in the U.S.

Currently, Dato’ SEAH is the Chairman of The World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA), a leading global consortium of tech-industry association-members from over 80 countries / economies. He is also the Chairman of SpaceTech Malaysia Association (SPA), the Vice-President of Malaysia Space Industry Corporation (MASIC), the Advisor of the National Tech Association of Malaysia (PIKOM) and a Committee Member of the 88-Captains Penang Welfare Society, a charitable non-governmental organisation founded for the purpose of sustaining talent development.
Dr. William has 28 years of working experience with the last 12 years in Senior Management positions in regional capacities. He was the Director of Business Development for CSF Group PLC that was listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: CSFG).

He is also the Vice President of the Malaysian Cross Border E-Commerce Association (MCBEA).

Dr. William is well versed in operations & business reviews, business development, financial management, fund raising and budgetary controls implementations. He is familiar and experienced in various IT platforms such as AI, Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, IoT & Security.

He currently holds a doctorate in Data Centre and Network Security.

Special Officers To Chairman

YBhg Dato’ Seri Dr.Ooi Eng Hock was the Past Chairman of FMM Penang Branch(Federation Of Malaysian Manufacturers). He also served in Invest Penang Advisory Board as well as Transport Councilor of Penang from 2009 to 2018.He is the advisor of SRS Consortium SB since 2016.

He is strong advocate for social and community upliftment through his work with the various charity organizations in Penang. Currently, he is the Chairman of 88 Captains (Pertubuhan Kebajikan 88 Kapten Pulau Pinang) and the Advisor of the PgCare Society Penang. He is also advisor to Association of Penang Foundry & Engineering, advisor to PTP Ideal Property, director of PCCC, etc.

Aside from his advocacy & civil service roles, he also manages his own Penang-based manufacturing firm for industrial fasteners and providing consultancy services to few companies.

Management Team

Ibrahim Shah has a track record over 25 years in the area of telecommunications, information technology, product marketing, sales, VSAT broadband, telecommunication infrastructure, data centre, cloud computing, e-Commerce, e-Supply Chain and Banking Industry.

Started his career in the retail banking and then join Telekom Malaysia in 1999, in the early internet era. His last assignment was Acting Managing Director of private limited company, where he is responsible for providing the visionary leadership in the broadband and technology company offering VSAT broadband and related services for the underserved areas in Semenanjung Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak.

Seeking to leverage a new challenge in the area of satellites R&D, design, building and its related commercial services and ready to assist the organization to new heights of success.
Mr. Chong is a Senior Management Executive with strong business and technology crossover experience drawn from 28 years in the industry. He served as the Global Executive Vice President of Detroit Electric Holdings Ltd (HK). He held dual positions as the Head of Strategic Program Office and Head of Legal Office supporting across 3 geographical regions; Asia Pacific, North America, and EMEA. He led the team in legal, strategic program initiatives and commercial sourcing/negotiation for the development of Detroit Electric’s electric vehicle programme.

In his 11 years at Sun Microsystems, he has held a number of roles delivering all aspects of IT products and services. He spent a substantial part of his time on strategy, management, and business development of which he was awarded top honours for overachievement in sales excellence.

He attended Illinois State University in the United Sates where he earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Law.
Mr. Leong is an experienced service leader with over 25 years of extensive and proven track record in the Service Management and Delivery industry. He was the Services Director for multiple MNC companies, namely, CSC Asia Pacific, Sun Microsystems Asia South, Landmark Graphics Asia Pacific and StorageTek South Asia Pte. Ltd.

Mr. Leong holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from California State University, Chico, USA.

He was a system software developer in the UNIX Operating Systems environment in Tandem Computers Inc fault-tolerance systems.
Mr. Norhizam Hamzah is a certified and registered engineer in the Board of Engineers Malaysia with more than 22 years of extensive knowledge in the space industry. He is currently the CTO of Angkasa-X.

Mr Hamzah was involved in multiple space related projects such as JET-X, ISO-LWS, TiungSAT-1, MEASAT-3, SPORT, SPASS, InnoSAT, CubeSAT, RazakSAT, InnoSAT-2, Horyu-4, SumbadilaSat including the participation of the launching campaign of Falcon 1.

He has also published numerous publications and contributed as expert panelist, trainer, lecturer and industrial supervisor. He was formerly the CTO of ATSB, a wholly owned company by the Malaysian govt. He is also the CEO of Mercu Tekun Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the Angkasa-X Group.

Independent Non Executive Directors (INEDs)

Dr. Poisant is the Secretary-General of the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA) since 2006. The WITSA alliance consists of over 80 leading ICT associations from around the globe and the WITSA members represent over 90% of the ICT industry worldwide.

Prior to joining WITSA, Dr. Poisant was the founder and CEO of Poisant International LLC, an internationally recognized events management company. In 1996, Dr. Poisant was appointed the President and CEO of the 1998 World Congress on Information Technology held in the United States. He was then appointed the International Executive Director for the 2000 World Congress held in Taipei, Taiwan.

Prior to organizing large international events, Dr. Poisant held a number of senior-level positions at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) including the Vice President of EDS’ Entertainment Division.

Before EDS, Dr. Poisant was the founder and first director of the Walt Disney Company’s Business Seminar Division, where he was responsible for all external Business, People Management and Quality Service seminars, and speeches. He presented speeches and seminars on leadership and management to over 200,000 executives worldwide.

He has a doctorate and master’s degrees in Public Administration, as well as a master’s degree in Urban Education, form the University of Massachusetts, Amhurst, MA. and bachelor’s degree in English and Secondary Education from Worcester State College, MA.
Dato’ Ng was the COO of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation or MDEC, the lead agency in driving the digital economy in Malaysia. MDEC’s efforts are centred on driving investments, building local tech champions, catalyzing digital innovation ecosystems and propagating digital inclusivity. MDEC is also responsible to ensure that Malaysia plays an integral part in developing and nurturing talent to drive digital innovation around the world, while attracting participation from global ICT companies to invest and develop cutting edge digital and creative solutions in the country.

As COO, she is responsible for Resource Planning, Strategy Execution, and Operational Quality. Under her care are the different business units, i.e. Industry Development, Digital Adoption, Digital Inclusion, and Digital Ecosystem.

Prior to the appointment to COO, she was the VP of Capacity Development Division, MDeC. During which she guided the rolling out of the MSC to extend its benefits and enabling environment nation-wide, including providing world class infrastructure, telecom services, and creating conducive environment through promoting Cyberlaws and IP protection in the country.

She has more than 20 years’ experience in the ICT field with extensive experience in managing large-scale projects. She has consulted for both private and public sector organizations in IT policy and project implementation in government, defense and education sectors in Malaysia and abroad.
Mr. Andy Ching has more than 30 years of working experience in accounting & finance. He has held numerous positions as a member of top executive management teams of many corporate companies which specialized in manufacturing, trading, airline catering, food & beverage, logistics, supply chain and laundry business. He has also held positions in public listed companies as a Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Group Financial Controller in the last 12 years.

His skills and expertise ranges from accounting, financial management, training, public speaking, sales & marketing, food & beverage, logistics operations and general insurance as well as vast experiences in public listed companies and Bursa Malaysia reporting and regulations.

He is currently an Associate Member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, U.K. (CIMA) and also a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

Advisors

Dr. Loke has over 50 years of experience in accounting and auditing, IPO, corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, financial consultancy, and corporate management.

He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Doctor of Business Administration degree from University of South Australia.

He is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales; Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries. He is also a life member of The Hong Kong Independent Non-executive Director Association.

Dr. Loke also serves as an independent non-executive director (INED) at 12 public listed companies.
Dato’ Shahrul Nizam Abdul Aziz joined TMB as the Group Chief Operating Officer in February 2017 and subsequently promoted to Group Chief Executive Officer on 1st March 2020.

Previously, he worked in UMW Corporation Berhad for 3 years where he served as the CEO of UMW Synergistic Sdn Bhd, a company specializes in Power Generation & Renewable Energy. He was formerly with Petronas Exploration & Production where he served over 2.5 years and assumed several senior positions, including the Interim CEO for Vestigo Petroleum, a Petronas wholly-owned subsidiary company specializes in the development and production from marginal hydrocarbon fields. He also covered strategy, commercial & new ventures for Central Asia and Latin America as part of his overall upstream portfolio.

Prior to joining Petronas, Shahrul Nizam worked in Sime Darby Berhad, a global multinational conglomerate as the Vice President covering strategy, corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, divestments, value management, investor relations, research, business development, program management office, special projects and marine business for the Group Head Office, Plantation, Healthcare and the Energy & Utilities division. He was the CEO-designate for Sime Darby Engineering prior to leaving the Group.

Shahrul Nizam also spent 7 years in Shell Malaysia in various businesses, ranging from Liquified Petroleum Gas (“LPG”), Retail Business and Bitumen Business in many operational, technical and management roles, such as Logistics Engineer, Plant Manager and Regional Territory Manager.

He also has over 15 years of oil & gas experience in both downstream and upstream development. He started his career as an analyst in the Communications & High Tech division of Accenture.

He holds a degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Bristol, UK (2000) and a certificate in Business Management from Saint Charles School of Professional Studies, USA (2001). He has also attended the Harvard Club Senior Management Development Program (2008) and Advanced Management Program by NUS-Chicago Booth (2016). In addition, he also pursued his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification and became a level 1 charter holder in 2008. He is currently pursuing his part- time MBA (Finance) with the University of Nottingham, UK (Malaysian Campus).
Datuk Kang is the National President of SME Association of Malaysia, and the founder cum chief editor of the SME Connect, a SME monthly newspaper. He is currently an Independent Director of Asia Media Group Berhad.

Datuk Kang was in ICT industry involving in hardware manufacturing, distribution and retails including software business, e-commerce and international trade business since 1985. He is also the Director of SME Corporate Malaysia, SMB Solutions Management Sdn Bhd and SMB Connection Sdn Bhd.

He currently holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the National Marine University of Taiwan.
Dr. Fauzi started his career as a senior consultant at Matshusita International Foundation for Asia Pacific Region. In 2003, he set up a private college in Malaysia in which it was sold to Sunway Group Berhad (Malaysia) after an excellent record.

He has held several positions such as an External Advisor to Forum Dosen Swasta Se Indonesia (FORDSSI), leading a group of consultants in Indonesia for foreign investment into Indonesia. He has also led the first online registration platform for Malaysian and Foreign students’ online registration to enrol into Malaysia Universities.

In 2010, Dr. Fauzi was bestowed an honorary title (DIMP) which carries ‘Dato’ from the state of Pahang, Malaysia for his contribution towards relationship between Malaysia and ASEAN countries.

He was also conferred an honorary with Doctor in Education from Weston Reserve University, Canada for his contributions towards Education Development in Malaysia and Indonesia.

He currently holds a BSc. In Business Administration and a Doctor in Business Administration from University of Nebraska Lincoln-USA.

He is also the current President and Chairman for several Malaysian and Indonesian companies.
Carson Wen is the Founder of Bank of Asia (BVI) Limited and BOA International Financial Group Limited which also includes various entities with Types 1,2,4 and 9 licenses issued by the Hong Kong Securities and Future Commission. He has practiced law for over 30 years at his own Hong Kong partnership and subsequently as partner at leading global law firms, retiring from Jones Day at the end of 2016. In his long professional career he handled the capital markets entry of the first PRC-controlled Hong Kong listed company Guangdong Investment, the first window company to be directly listed Guangnan Holdings, some of the first PRC private enterprises to be listed via the "round-trip investment" structure which became standard practice, and some of the first "VIE" structures which also became standard practice. He has also handled many complexly structured transactions as a mergers and acquisitions lawyer. He was regularly listed in the likes of "Who's Who in the Law" and "Chambers".

Mr. Wen obtained his B.A. from Columbia University, where he majored in economics, and B.A. and M.A. from Balliol College, Oxford University, where he studied law and was Younger Prizeman in Law for 1976.
With more than 30 years in the ICT Industry, Mr. Chin has vast experience in the Information Technology, Telecommunications and Venture investment industry in Malaysia, China and Southeast Asia. Besides working in numerous local companies, he has also worked with large corporations such as IBM, Telekom Malaysia, Gozzo Rosso Japan.

Mr. Chin is the Vice President of the SME Association and also the National President of the Malaysian Cross Border E-Commerce Association. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer for OTC listed company, SEATech ventures Corp. (OTC-PINK: SEAV), a corporate venture advisory company, providing consultation for listing of technology-based companies in OTC and NASDAQ. Prior to these roles, Mr. Chin was the independent Director of M-Mode Bhd, listed company in KLSE from 2009 till 2012 and Non-Executive Director of Galasys PLC, Listed Company in AIMS London from 2014 till 2016.

Mr. Chin holds a BSC. (Hon) second class upper Degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communication Engineering from the National University of Malaysia (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia).
